One of the questions we get asked the most is, “What is Skype and why do I need it?“.

We conduct conversations with people in 1 of 3 ways; Cell phone, home/office phone (landline) or Skype. Each method has pros and cons. Here is a short comparison of the various methods for having a conversation with our Storyographer. and provide clips of each method so you can hear the differences and decide which works best for you.

Which method is right for you?

If you…

already use Skype or don’t find it challenging to install apps on your phone, then Skype would give you the best audio quality. (Direct Links: iOS, Android)

don’t already use Skype, don’t want to install Skype on your phone, or don’t have a Smartphone, then a Landline would be preferred.

don’t have access to a landline, then using your cell phone is OK.

No matter which method you choose, you can be sure that our Storyographers will make you sound great.
